Smoke, Iron, & Seasoning

Smoke
To cook over fire one must control not only the heat but also the smoke. Smoke can preserve or it can destroy. It can give flavour or it can become acrid. It can give colour or it can make everything as black as charcoal. Only you can bring the skills, but we can bring the best charcoal and smoking woods.

Iron
We don't care too much for fancy barbeques. An old Weber, an offset, a big fancy Kamado, or a stick over the flames. As long as you control the fire the outcome will be the same. However when you want to make a stew, create a sauce, or fry meat you need decent cast iron cookware. We have it.

Seasoning
In barbeque there is more to seasoning than salt and pepper. Different meats, fish, and vegetables work well with different herbs and spices. Sauces give colour, glaze, sweetness, and a contrast to the smoke. There is a world of flavour to be explored. Start here with our favourites.
